What can the record contain?
The history view derives records from stored final games. It can connect seasons without flattening the team names, managers, and franchise identities that changed along the way.
Final score ledgers
Recorded weeks and final matchups provide the underlying wins, losses, points, margins, standings, closest games, and highest scores shown in the archive.
Rivalries across time
When franchise and manager mappings remain available, the product can aggregate head-to-head results and season records without treating an unsupported anecdote as a statistic.
Evidence, not folklore
The archive states its gaps.
A credible league history distinguishes a recorded fact from a memory. Leagueborn will not claim a complete lifetime archive when the provider returns only part of one.

What can be absent

Current boundary: historical import is available for saved, authenticated Sleeper league coverage. If no completed prior season is exposed, Leagueborn can still begin the record with newly finalized weeks.

How far back does history go?
There is no honest universal year count. Availability depends on the connected Sleeper league and its completed-season links.
- Does Leagueborn import every season automatically?
- No. It follows completed prior seasons that Sleeper links and exposes. A broken or absent chain produces a visible gap rather than a fabricated season.
- How are records and rivalries calculated?
- From stored final matchup results. The available ledger drives totals, margins, standings, closest games, high scores, and supported head-to-head records.
- What if a team changed its name or manager?
- Leagueborn preserves season-specific source labels and uses available franchise and manager mappings. It does not silently rewrite old seasons with a current display name.
- Can a live matchup become part of history?
- Not as a final result. The week must pass Leagueborn’s finality checks before it can support the durable league record.
