Roster Deck · Card ratings

How a Roster Deck card is rated

Every number on a Roster Deck card comes from the player’s real weekly fantasy points in your Sleeper league. Nobody sets a rating by hand, and nobody can buy a better card.

Rating is 40 plus 2.2 times average weekly points, kept between 40 and 99. Legendary starts at 88, Epic at 78, and Rare at 66.

The formula

Four numbers on every card.

Each round of a duel reads one stat. The overall rating sets the rarity.

01 / Ceiling

Best single week

The player’s highest completed week this season.

02 / Form

Last three weeks

The average of the three most recent completed weeks.

03 / Floor

The 25th percentile week

The low end of a normal week, so one dud does not sink it.

04 / Rating

40 + 2.2 × average points

Average weekly points, scaled and kept between 40 and 99.

Rarity

Rarity follows the rating.

A player averaging 20 points a week rates 84, an Epic card. At 22 points a week the card turns Legendary.

Legendary

Epic

Method

How a card is printed.

Every number on a Roster Deck card comes from completed weeks of real fantasy points in your league.

01

Collect the completed weeks

Leagueborn reads each completed Sleeper week this season and keeps the points every rostered player scored in your league. The live week never counts.

02

Work out Ceiling, Form, and Floor

Ceiling is the best single week. Form is the average of the last three weeks. Floor is the 25th percentile week, the low end of a normal week.

03

Set the rating and rarity

The overall rating is 40 plus 2.2 times average weekly points, kept between 40 and 99. Rarity follows the rating: Common, Rare, Epic, or Legendary.

04

Re-print after the next final week

When another week completes, every card is rebuilt from the new totals, so a breakout game upgrades the card and a quiet stretch cools it off.

The fine print

Questions people ask.

How is the overall card rating calculated?
Rating is 40 plus 2.2 times the player’s average weekly fantasy points in your league, rounded and kept between 40 and 99. A player averaging 20 points a week is an 84.
What are the rarity cutoffs?
Legendary is 88 or higher, Epic is 78 to 87, Rare is 66 to 77, and Common is below 66. Rarity follows the rating, so nobody can buy or pull a rarer card.
Which weeks count toward a card?
Completed weeks this season where the player was on a roster in your league. Points use your league’s own Sleeper scoring, so the same player can rate differently in a PPR league and a standard league.
Why is a player missing from my hand?
Your hand is five cards: this week’s Sleeper starters first, topped up from the bench. A player listed Out, IR, PUP, suspended, or with no scored week yet sits out until they score again.
What do the card classes mean?
The class comes from position: Field General is a QB, Bruiser an RB, Burner a WR, Mismatch a TE, Specialist a K, and Wall a defense. Any other position is Utility. Classes are labels and do not change a score.
