Leagueborn finality checks publish a recap only after the complete Sleeper slate is present, Sleeper has advanced past that scoring week, and two identical reads at least 15 minutes apart agree. Bye weeks and unpaired playoff rosters can still publish. Tuesday is not automatically final, and later Sleeper stat corrections do not silently rewrite a published edition.

What has to be true first.

No weekday, status label, or timer is enough on its own. The whole week has to be present, over, and unchanged.

01 / Complete slate

Every team, exactly once

Every team must appear exactly once, either in a two-team matchup with a real score or as a scheduled bye or unpaired playoff roster. A missing team, duplicate, or missing score keeps the recap from publishing today.

02 / Sleeper advanced

The scoring week is over

Sleeper's active NFL week must be later than the week being recapped, unless the league itself is already complete.

03 / Two identical checks

Two checks, 15 minutes apart

Leagueborn reads the complete week twice. If any score changes, the 15-minute confirmation window starts again.

04 / Publish

Publish

Only a week that passes every check becomes a final, shareable recap. Until then, it stays clearly labeled as live.

Why every check matters

Unchanged is not the same as final.

A Sunday score can sit still for 15 minutes while the game is still on. A league can look complete while a matchup is missing. Each check catches a different mistake.

We check the week itself

A season status cannot stand in for the actual matchups and scores. Leagueborn checks the exact week the recap is about.

Any checks made before Sleeper advances are discarded. A live score cannot become final simply because the clock ran long enough.

What is not automatically final

A scheduled bye or unpaired playoff roster is recorded; the week can still publish. Leagueborn will not invent a matchup or a score to fill the gap.
Tuesday does not make a week final. The weekday is not one of the checks.
Later Sleeper stat corrections do not silently rewrite a published edition.

The published recap keeps its date

Once published, the recap stays attached to the scores Leagueborn confirmed and the time they were checked.

Sleeper says stat corrections can arrive through Thursday. The current product does not automatically replace a published recap after a later correction. Read it as the score record saved at the stated time—not a promise that Sleeper can never change.
