Draft night

Fantasy football draft recaps from the Sleeper board

Draft night is a record too. Leagueborn writes a dated edition from the Sleeper room—the clock, the format, the keepers, the traded capital, and the picks that actually happened.

This is the Sleeper board, not a mock. Leagueborn does not invent an order, grade a pick, or rank a prospect. Preview, live, and recap are three phases of the same posted draft. Weekly score recaps start after the scoring weeks begin.

Three editions

Preview, live, then the recap.

The job changes with the board. The source does not. Sleeper remains the draft record.

01 / Preview

The room before a pick

Who is in the room, who holds the commish chair, when the clock is set, and how many picks have already changed hands. If Sleeper has not posted a time, the edition says so.

02 / Live

The board while it moves

An in-progress Sleeper draft, with the picks and keepers already on the record. Missing player details stay pending instead of being guessed.

03 / Recap

The completed pick list

After Sleeper marks the draft complete, the edition keeps the picks, keepers, and capital that actually posted. It is not a weekly score recap.

From the board

How a draft edition is built.

Leagueborn writes the draft from Sleeper’s posted room, clock, and picks. It does not invent an order or a prospect.

01 / The record

Read the Sleeper draft record

Use the draft Sleeper posted for the league: start time if present, format, rounds, keepers, and traded picks.

02 / The phase

Choose the phase the board is in

Preview is the room before picks. Live is an in-progress board. Recap is a completed draft with the picks Sleeper recorded.

03 / The board

List actual picks and capital

Show keepers, traded pick capital, and selected players with the franchise Sleeper assigned. Leave unposted details blank.

04 / The limit

Invent nothing

Do not grade the draft, rank prospects, or fill a missing pick. If Sleeper has not posted it, the edition does not invent it.

Preview a league with no Sleeper password. After scoring weeks start, the job becomes a weekly recap from final scores, not another draft board. See the fictional draft edition to read an illustrative room. Dynasty Dynamite is not a real draft.

The fine print

What a draft recap is not.

It is not expert rankings, a mock, or the season's weekly recap. It is the Sleeper draft, written down.

Is a Leagueborn draft recap a mock draft?
No. It is a dated edition of the Sleeper draft room: posted time, format, keepers, traded pick capital, and actual picks. No prospect ranking is invented.
When does the draft edition appear?
When Sleeper is in the draft window. Preview covers the room before picks, live covers an in-progress board, and recap covers a completed draft.
Does a draft recap replace the weekly score recap?
No. The draft edition is for draft night. Once scoring weeks begin, Leagueborn publishes weekly recaps from final scores instead.
Do I need a Sleeper password to preview a draft?
No. A public Sleeper username can open a read-only preview. Leagueborn never asks for a Sleeper password.
