Leagueborn asks Sleeper for the public account and its available leagues for the selected season. If Sleeper cannot resolve the username, the lookup stops without guessing an account.

The public lookup and the saved product are separate actions. Looking up a username does not give Leagueborn commissioner powers and does not create persistent league coverage by itself.
Inspect the read-only source
The preview can read league users, team names, rosters, matchups, transactions, drafts, and traded picks exposed by Sleeper. It cannot edit any of them.
Sign in for ongoing coverage
A Leagueborn account is required to save a selected league, associate membership, and keep normalized weekly and historical records in the product.
The access boundary
Read-only has a precise meaning.
Leagueborn never asks for a Sleeper password and cannot change Sleeper league settings.
Leagueborn can
- Resolve a public Sleeper username.
- Read provider-exposed league and matchup information.
- Normalize that source into recaps and history.
- Refresh a saved league after Leagueborn authentication.
Leagueborn cannot
- Log in to Sleeper as you.
- Change rosters, lineups, settings, scores, or members.
- Publish a live or incomplete week as a verified final.
- Recover data Sleeper does not expose or return.
Current limitation: provider outages, private or unavailable source data, incomplete matchup coverage, and unsupported bye weeks can prevent a preview or final recap. Leagueborn does not fill those gaps with invented results.

Before you connect a league.
The current integration is intentionally narrower than a general fantasy-platform importer.
- Do I give Leagueborn my Sleeper password?
- No. Leagueborn uses a public Sleeper username for lookup and never asks for your Sleeper password.
- Can Leagueborn change my Sleeper league?
- No. The integration is read-only. It cannot set a lineup, change a score, adjust settings, or manage league members.
- Why does saving require a Leagueborn account?
- Authentication associates the selected league and its stored coverage with an authorized Leagueborn member. The underlying Sleeper access remains read-only after sign-in.
- Does Leagueborn support ESPN, Yahoo, or NFL leagues?
- Not in the current public workflow. Sleeper is the only supported fantasy provider today.
